Hollow glass
A light crystal that forms in the depths of the world. Hollow glass exists in symbiosis with pools of ichor, a sought after oil used to fuel modern machinery. Large crystals of hollow glass draw root-like plumes out of the ichor that seek nearby crystals, interconnecting them in an almost magnetic relationship.How hollow glass forms around ichor is poorly understood. They do not share properties. While ichor has no adverse effect on people, hollow glass mysteriously affects the psyche of people. It's a latent kind of madness that does not manifest immediately.
