The rattler
The pale king and ruler of imps. A being of norren folklore. He has no real known form, only vague descriptions of being a hulking crossbreed between man and imp. He appears pale, dragging along a long veil of hair that is the shade of night and cobwebs. His teeth are clattering with every movement. He seeks children to stuff into seedlings and convert them into his thralls.The rattler is not real. As of 976 the church of Ardika put a ban on the reprint of grotesque norren folk tales. The rattler is now an icon in the fight against cultural erasure.
