Eskaran cape pheasant
Better known as the snake pheasant in Nor due to its serpent-heavy diet. The hen is a royal dish in Eskara and a popular nobility gift. The most prized part is its unusually sweet-tasting heart, which is served sauteed on a small platter and accompanied by slices of eskaran golden apple.The male pheasant's feathers are a popular gift and used for decoration, usually found on bonnets and pins. Cockfighting among males is also a popular sport for the rich and wealthy.
